The Stun Gun is a Light class gadget that can zap an opponent to impair their movement and disable their specializations temporarily.
Effects
The Stun Gun can be deployed by firing it from a short distance. If the electric pulse hits an opponent, they are stunned for a few seconds.
While stunned, the opponent's movement speed is greatly reduced, they cannot jump or crouch, and their reticle while aiming down sights becomes much more unstable, causing potentially lower accuracy. Additionally, specializations (especially movement-based specializations, such as the Evasive Dash and Charge 'N' Slam) are disabled, making it very difficult for the target to escape.
Usage
The Stun Gun can be selected as one of three gadgets of any Light build loadout.
The gadget can be held and fired like a weapon. The gadget has stable accuracy even while moving. Aiming down sights is possible but will not increase accuracy.
The trigger can be pulled to fire an electric pulse that will stun the first opponent it hits.
When a new charge of the Stun Gun is ready, it needs to be reloaded like a weapon, unlike most gadgets. The reloading animation is automatically started once a charge is ready and the gadget is held.

Properties
Gadget
Ranged — Strikes targets by aiming and firing at them from a distance.
Aim Down Sights — Has iron sights that significantly increase accuracy when used.
Scope — Has the ability to aim down sights, though this does not significantly affect accuracy. Iron sights replace the crosshairs.
Stable Accuracy — Keeps a stable accuracy, even while moving and going airborne.
Single Charge — Can be used once, then recharges automatically over the cooldown time.
Gadget Reload — Automatically goes into a reloading animation once the gadget is used and a new charge is ready to be loaded.
Zap
Hitscan — Travels in a straight line.
Trigger on Impact — Applies its effects if an opponent is struck.
Not Interceptible — Can not be removed by the APS Turret.
Not Damaging — Hitting a contestant directly with the projectile does not deal damage.
Effect
Immobilizing — Stops the affected contestant from crouching or jumping and greatly reduces movement speed.
Not Glitching — Does not glitch affected contestants, but the Stun Gun will prevent the use of specializations and interrupts actions such as stealing a cashout.
Not Disabling — Does not disable glitchable gadgets.
No Friendly Fire — Can affect neither the user nor their teammates.
Strategy
Strengths
- The Stun Gun can lock down Light contestants that would normally be hard to catch, as their specialization will be disabled for the duration.
Item Mastery
Item mastery XP can be earned by striking an opponent with the Stun Gun.
Each time a certain XP threshold is reached, the item levels up. This does not improve the item, but rewards a unique item customization.
